Djalo ‘Says He’s Ready To Play’ But San Jose Earthquakes Will Keep Him Out 1-2 Weeks

Yannick Djalo is edging closer to a return to the field.

“I’d say it’s a day-to-day thing,” said head coach Mark Watson after the team’s training on Tuesday. “It’s probably a week or two.”

According to Watson, Djalo wants to return immediately.

“Yannick says he’s ready to play right now, but our medical staff is saying otherwise.”

So, how does Watson see it?

“I think it’s somewhere in the middle.”

According to a club spokesman, the attacker will be listed as questionable for the game against FC Dallas on Friday at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara.
