Two Fights and an Apparent Injury to Glenn Dorsey in San Fransisco 49ers Practice

It was a busy Friday night in Santa Clara.

During the San Francisco 49ers final practice of the week there were a couple of fights, an apparent injury for Glenn Dorsey and  a 50-yard touchdown pass from Colin Kaepernick to Chuck Jacobs.

The first scuffle took place between running back Jewel Hampton and linebacker Chase Thomas. Hampton punched Thomas in the helmet before head coach Jim Harbaugh jumped in the middle of the players to break things up. The second mix-up involved wide receiver Anquan Boldin and cornerback Darryl Morris.  Tight end Vernon Davis and Harbaugh had to get in the middle of the melee and the head coach ended up sending Boldin back to the locker room.

Before both of those incidents, Dorsey had to exit practice early with an apparent injury to his left arm/elbow. The defensive lineman was examined by a few members of the team’s training staff before going to the locker room with a trainer.

Wide receivers Michael Crabtree and  Brandon Lloyd didn’t take part in practice. Linebacker Justin Smith, nose tackle Ian Williams and running back Marcus Lattimore were among the players working out on the side field.

Here are a few photos and videos from practice.
